The D4 series of helmets picks up where the Daytona legacy has remained the top of the podium for years, all new and already winning Downhill World Cup Championships and BMX Championships. Using carbon fiber reinforcements in the shell of the new TLD D4 Carbon helmet has helped pare down the weight of the full-face helmet by almost 50 grams without sacrificing strength. Despite the loss in weight, we were able to strategically add EPS to increase strength and durability. The new TLD D4's package is rounded out with lightweight titanium D-rings, collarbone suspension system and quick release XT2 3D cheek pads and X-Static washable liner.

The D4 series boasts maximum ventilation, with 20 high-flow intake and exhaust ports. The all-new front composite Gill intake system with anodized mesh side airvents not only pulls in a lot of air for cooling, but also adds a unique level of design and style. Built with an aerospace shell design and materials, the D4 Carbon helmet weighs only 1050 grams without sacrificing any strength. The MIPS C2 system is used to add an additional layer of coverage.

The removable, washable Coolmax-Dri-lex comfort liner and quick release cheek pads provide comfort and convenience in the event of an emergency. Inside the box, you'll find the D4 helmet, spare visor screw hardware kit, emergency ID sticker for under the visor, manual and helmet bag.
