Improving upon the class-leading design and function of the D3 helmet was no easy task, but Troy Lee Designs achieved it with the D4 Composite helmet. Crafted with an aerospace-inspired shell design and materials, the D4 Composite weighs in at a mere 1050 grams without compromising strength.

The D4 Composite incorporates the MIPS C2 protection system, providing an additional layer of safety in the event of a fall. For exceptional comfort, the helmet features a front air intake system that channels cooling air through the polymer center and power grid side mesh, keeping your head cool during the ride.

To maintain a pleasant interior environment, the helmet utilizes X-Static® and XT2® anti-microbial and anti-odor padding, ensuring a much nicer place to be. Designed and intended exclusively for bicycling activities, including mountain biking and off-road cycling, the D4 Composite boasts 20 high-flow intake and exhaust ports for maximum ventilation.

Engineered for enhanced impact performance, the D4 Composite incorporates added EPS foam and a new headform shape. The helmet also features a MIPS quick-release system and contoured 3D cheek pads for easy emergency removal.

Enhancing comfort and convenience, the D4 Composite comes equipped with a removable, snap-in washable comfort liner made from Coolmax and Dri-lex moisture-wicking materials. The super-light titanium D-rings not only save weight but also offer increased material tensile strength.
