The D4 Composite Helmet: Constantly Innovating

Improving upon the class-leading design and function of our D3 helmet was no easy task, but we made it happen. Built with an aerospace-inspired shell design and materials, we were able to craft the D4 Composite helmet, weighing in at a mere 1050 grams, without compromising its strength.

At the heart of the D4 Composite is the MIPS C2 protection system, which adds an additional layer of safety in the event of a fall. For enhanced comfort, the helmet features a front air intake system that channels cooling airflow through the polymer center and power grid side mesh, keeping your head refreshed during the ride. The use of X-static® and XT2® anti-microbial/anti-odor padding ensures the interior remains a pleasant environment.

This helmet is designed and intended exclusively for bicycling activities, including mountain biking and off-road cycling. Its 20 high-flow intake and exhaust ports maximize ventilation, while the added EPS foam and new headform shape improve impact performance. For emergency situations, the D4 Composite boasts a quick-release system and contoured 3D cheek pads for easy removal.

Complementing the helmet's technical features is a removable, washable comfort liner made from moisture-wicking Coolmax and Dri-lex materials. Additionally, the use of super-light titanium D-rings saves weight while increasing material tensile strength.

The D4 Composite helmet is certified to meet the CPSC 1203, CE EN1078, ASTM F1952-DH, and ASTM 2032-BMX safety standards, ensuring it provides the protection you need for your cycling adventures.
