The new Troy Lee Designs (TLD) D4 Carbon helmet is the latest in the brand's Daytona, D2, and D3 series, redefining the harmony between technology, safety, and artistic design. Utilizing carbon fiber reinforcements in the shell, the D4 Carbon has managed to shave off nearly 50 grams from the weight of the full-face helmet without compromising its strength. Despite this weight reduction, the engineers have strategically added EPS to increase the helmet's overall strength and durability.

Integrated within the D4 Carbon is the MIPS System, designed to mitigate the rotational forces transferred to the brain during angled impacts to the head. The package is rounded out with lightweight titanium D-rings, a collarbone suspension system, and quick-release XT2 3D cheek pads along with a washable X-Static liner, providing a comfortable and convenient user experience.

The helmet's coverage features a carbon fiber shell, an EPP collarbone impact system, and chinbar shock pads, weighing in at a total of 1000 grams. The ventilation system comprises 24 vents, with 10 front intake ports, 5 overhead channeling intake vents, and 7 rear exhaust ports, ensuring optimal airflow and cooling.

For a personalized fit, the D4 Carbon is available in 3 shell sizes and 3 EPS sizes, offering a total of 6 sizes ranging from XS to XXL. The anatomical, quick-release "3D" cheek pads further enhance the helmet's comfort and customization.

Convenience is another key aspect of the D4 Carbon, with its removable and washable Coolmax-Dri-lex comfort liner, as well as the use of super-light titanium D-rings.
